About Aaron Vos
Professional History
Council member, City of Vero Beach, Florida.
From December 2017 to October 2024, Aaron Vos worked as an independent contractor for Raytheon as a management and engineering consultant. He was assigned to special projects, working on critical issues for resolution and closure.
Prior to his consultant work, Aaron has had a successful 31-year career with Raytheon (formerly Hughes Aircraft Company).
Program Manager, as a prime contractor with the U.S. Navy, for a major development program. Three-year contract, valued over $1.1B. Received the Raytheon “CEO Program Management Excellence” award for successful contract award and program execution.
Program Manager, as a major subcontractor with the U.S. Air Force, for a critical national defense system upgrade. Selected for special assignment to develop and execute a recovery plan for the troubled program. Recognized by both the Raytheon Division President and the Prime Contractor for a successful program recovery and delivery of the critical systems.
Factory Manager for development and production radars. Approximately 350 hourly and salaried staff.
Design Engineer for Radar Subsytems.

Military Service
Aaron enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he matured his leadership abilities, attaining the rank of Sergeant within four years. During his tour in the Marine Corps, he received two Meritorious Masts and was selected for special duty as an inspector and instructor for radar maintenance.
Education
Aaron attained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Fullerton, while working a full time job.
While at Raytheon, Aaron attained his certification as a Level 1 Program Manager.
Community Service
Aaron and his family actively support Habitat for Humanity and Communities Child, (a non-profit Women’s Shelter).
Family
Aaron has a wife and one adult child.
Aaron and his family moved to Vero Beach in March of 2019, after an extensive three-year survey of Florida coastal cities.
Future plans
Aaron had a long and successful career in the defense industry and feels that it is time to change focus and take this opportunity to give back and support the community that is his home, Vero Beach.
